Create your own fairy tale during winter holidays and make your New Year and Christmas unforgettable. Travel through the wondrous sights of Armenia throughout the holiday season and explore the Armenian winter tale that is made complete with the professionalism of Zatik Travel & Tourism.

The tale will begin on December 30 in Yerevan. The tour through the old city of Yerevan, especially during this time of the year will leave you with the warmest emotions preparing you for the next chapters of your wintertime journey. Yerevan city tour includes the following steps:

The tour proper will consist of the following places of interest in Yerevan:

  • Arrival to Armenia, Yerevan
  • On-time pick-up from the airport
  • Hotel accommodation
  • Yerevan City Tour
  • The tufa-stone buildings that you will see in the Republic Square portray the architecture of Soviet Armenia, the pink Yerevan.
  • Northern Avenue, the modern part of Yerevan built in 2007. Lovers of luxurious residential buildings, high-end brand stores, commercial offices, coffee shops and restaurants, hotels and nightclubs will appreciate this place. You can find the best of the above mentioned on this avenue.
  • Right above Northern Avenue you can see the beautiful Swan Lake surrounded with a comfortable little park where you can sit and enjoy the views of Yerevan. From spring to late autumn swans swim in the lake adding their grace and beauty to the overall image. In winter the lake turns into an ice rink where you can enjoy one of the most beautiful winter sports - figure skating.
  • The famous Opera House, Armenian National Academic Theater of Opera and Ballet, was opened in 1933. The structure of the building was designed by the well-known Armenian architect Alexander Tamanian. The building is two sided: one side is home to Opera and Ballet theater while the street side houses the Khachaturyan Concert Hall. Here you can enjoy really nice opera and ballet performances such as Spartacus, Gayane, etc. If you get the chance to be present at any of these performances, don’t think twice, take it. They will add some cclassiness to the Christmas magic.
  • Cascade is a huge stairway built of limestone. On the uppermost level you can enjoy a breathtaking view of Yerevan and Mt. Ararat. If you find it tiring or difficult to walk up the stairs, you can go inside and take the escalators. The exterior of the Cascade features fountains and modernist sculptures from the Cafesjian collection, on the inside you can also see a number of modern and interesting sculptures. Classical and jazz open-air concerts often take place at Cascade during spring, summer and early autumn, with spectators sitting on the steps. The many cafes and restaurants situated around the Cascade complex will complete your experience of this place.
  • Situated in and around the Cascade complex, Cafesjian Center for the Arts offers its visitors a number of different interesting exhibitions, lectures, seminars, films both for adults and children. Since its opening in 2009, the Center has had over a million visitors.
